I am an artist, and with my photography, I tell stories of architecture because I believe every building has a soul.
A building is a vessel for most of our lives. We shape our buildings, and thereafter, they shape us.
Architecture does more than provide shelter. Great architecture affirms who we are and that life has meaning. Through architecture, people shape their identities and present themselves to others.
The purpose of a civilization is to build a home for itself, either set in stone or shaped in ideas.
It provides the stronghold of security, the expression of love, the sharing of experience, and hope for this life and the next.
It diverts the amorphous energy of the human psyche away from wasting it in fear, war, and terror of naked survival.
It creates an environment where every human life is celebrated, and a man has the means and freedom to learn, discover, and be creative.
It is a place where everyone is safe to fall in love with life and take the risks of living.
Life itself is all that matters.
