Annette Silkwood

I am inspired by the movement of ribbon and the infinite dimension of the sphere shape. Color adjacencies are pushed to the limit of the painted surfaces and appear to float through the sculptures. Peter Max was an early influence for using bold colors and a strong graphic background influences the shapes and designs painted.
