I have always been fascinated by architecture, from the minute details to the grand design, and my affinity for pattern and geometry make kaleidoscopic designs a natural choice. Combining the two creates intricate artwork that captures the essence of the original structure while retaining a slight air of mystery and wonder. People form an emotional connection to my art, especially when they have special memories of the place depicted. I love hearing my customers’ travel stories!

I digitally manipulate photos of iconic buildings and landmarks to create kaleidoscopic designs. I hand cut the designs and then re-assemble the pieces with foam between each layer to create a dimensional kaleidoscopic representation of the original photo. The finished piece is framed in a shadow box.
