Art on Tour Collection Outreach Program (2007 - 2008 Collection)
New 2010 Collection Addition for the 25th Anniversary!

The MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival, with the support of Chesapeake Energy Corporation and in conjunction with the art apprentices of the Fort Worth Independent School District, is pleased to once again present the Art on Tour Collection Outreach Program.
Students from the Fort Worth ISD’s Art Apprentice Program in 2007 and 2008 have researched and purchased a number of pieces which are currently being curated by the current group of apprentices. For 2010, this group will research and coordinate the acquisition of new work from the 2010 MAIN ST. participating artists, and will handle the planning, handling and installation of our entire collection at various locations throughout the Fort Worth community.
The Art on Tour Collection consists of original works of art acquired from the 2007 and 2008 Festival’s participating artists, and will soon be complete with works from 2010. Each collection provides exposure to the visual arts in an accessible, non-threatening setting and introduces the public to various art forms through exhibition of original artwork through a series of presentations throughout Fort Worth.
