Outreach Programs
Two Dynamic Educational Programs are once again underway for
2009, the Growing Young Artists Program presented by XTO Energy, and the Art on Tour Program presented by Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
The MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival, and its producer, Downtown Fort Worth Initiatives, Inc., is committed to helping young people grow in the world of art, and to encourage them to consider an art career that includes the commercial exhibition and sale of their work. To that end, we have partnered with XTO Energy and the Chesapeake Energy Corporation to bring these two exciting programs to life, and to provide a resource to a number of youth in the Fort Worth area to experience the "business" of arts festivals.
Please take a moment to review these programs, and we encourage you to join us at the "Young People's Art Fair" on-site, or attend our Art on Tour exhibition following the festival. Or, perhaps one of our Visiting Artists may help a young person
