Witherspoon Agency Selected for MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival

 FORT WORTH, Texas, October 7, 2005 – Witherspoon Advertising and Public Relations has been selected by MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival to promote the 2006 festival, a four-day celebration of the arts to be held April 20-23 in downtown Fort Worth. Witherspoon will assist in the planning, creation and implementation of marketing and communications programs for the popular annual event.

“We selected Witherspoon in large part due to their success in promoting last year’s event,” said John C. “Jay” Downie, CFEE, executive producer of MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival. “The agency’s public relations, event planning and on-target creative work made it a memorable event for both artists and patrons alike. In addition to being a great partner to work with, their results included a record turn out for our 20th year celebration.”

This year’s festival will feature more than 100 live performances and work by 200 artists. An average 430,000 people annually attend MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival, the largest free, four-day visual arts and entertainment festival in the Southwest.
