STREET CLOSURES

Note: All closures commence at 12:01 AM on the first day of the closure, and end at 6:00 AM on the final day of the closure, unless indicated otherwise. This information is tentative. Please check back in March, 2011 for final information.

Monday, April 4, 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11.

Main Street from 2nd Street to 9th Street (Cross streets remain open)

8th Street from Houston Street to Main Street: One curb lane on the South side and the parking curb cut will be closed from 12:01 am Monday April 4 until 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6. (Full street closure 12:01 AM Wednesday April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday April 11).

Houston Street parking curb cuts, East side between 3^rd Street and 4^th Street to include bagging of parking meters: 12:01 AM Monday, April 4 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11.

Tuesday, April 5, 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11

Main Street from Weatherford Street to 2^nd Street: 12:01 AM Tuesday, April 5 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11.

4th Street parking lane south side, Houston Street to Throckmorton Street: 12:01 AM Tuesday, April 5 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. This lane will be used for port-a-lets for the event.

6th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: Two outside lanes (north & south curb lanes) will be closed 9:00 AM Tuesday, April 5 until 6:00 PM Friday, April 11. (Full street closure 6:00 PM on Friday, April 9 to Monday, April 11 at 6:00 AM). Note: Two (2) center lanes will remain open to traffic until 6:00 PM Thursday and Friday. Access to Hotel parking garage entrance and access to Parking Garage (between Main St. and Houston St.) will be maintained.

7th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: Two outside lanes (north & south curb lanes) will be closed 9:00 AM Tuesday, April 5 until 6:00 PM Friday, April 8. (Full street closure 6:00 PM on Friday, April 8 to Monday, April 11 at 6:00 AM). Note: Two (2) center lanes will remain open to traffic until 6:00 PM Thursday and Friday.

9th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Tuesday, April 5 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11.

Wednesday April 6, 12:01 AM to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11

1st Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Access to Renaissance Worthington Parking Garage will be maintained.

2nd Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Access to the Renaissance Worthington portico will be maintained. Street closure will not be initiated until after rush hour on Thursday and Friday.

3rd Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Access to Haltom’s Jewelry loading zone will be provided by barricade pass.

4th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Two (2) North lanes will be open during rush hour traffic (6:00 AM – 9:00 AM), Wednesday, April 6, Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8. 4^th Street will close entirely (all lanes) for the weekend at 9:00 AM on Friday, April 8 – Monday, April 11. Access to Parking Garage will be maintained.

5th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Two (2) center lanes will be open all day on Wednesday, April 6 and during rush hour traffic (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) Thursday, April 7 – Friday, April 8. 5^th Street will close entirely (all lanes) for the weekend at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 8 – Monday, April 11.

5th Street parking lane, north side: Bagging of parking meters from Houston Street to Throckmorton Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. This lane will be used for merchant back-up parking (restaurants & hotel).

8th Street from Houston Street to Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Access to Hilton Hotel will be maintained. Restaurant valet parking service will be moved to Houston Street.

Close parking lane (curb lane) and bagging of parking meters Commerce Street (West side of street) and Houston Street (Eastside of street) between 1^st Street and 9^th Streets to be used as a Golf Cart lane: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. This lane will be used for golf carts to move through the event in a safe manner and not impede traffic or block sidewalks.

Close parking and bagging of parking meters Weatherford Street (South side) between Main Street and Commerce Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. Parking to be used for permit-only event staff and support.

Close Houston Street parking curb cuts, East side of street, and bagging of parking meters from 2^nd Street to 9^th Street: 12:01 AM Wednesday, April 6 (changed from Thursday) to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. These parking spaces will be used for permit-only service vehicles.

Thursday, April 7 12:01 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday, April 11

Close first traffic lane west side of Commerce Street from 1^st Street and 9^th Streets to be used as a Golf Cart lane: 12:01 AM Thursday, April 7 to 6:00 AM Monday, April 11. This lane will be used for golf carts to move through the event in a safe manner and not impede traffic or block sidewalks.
